Breaking: Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament CANCELLED

After further discussion with the Presidents and Chancellors and Directors of Athletics and mounting concerns surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Sun Belt Conference has decided to cancel the remaining games of the 2020 Sun Belt Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships scheduled for March 14-15 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

This announcement came on the heels of the Southeastern Conference announcing the cancellation of their conference tournament that was being held in Nashville.
It is currently unknown what the NCAA will ultimately decide concerning the NCAA Tournament. They stated yesterday it would continue on however only essential staff, media, etc would be able to attend. Now that statement is in question.
